For a legal services administration organization, led three concurrent project teams focused on: Operations/billing process improvement; Time management process and system improvements; Management reporting design and development. Achieved the following project objectives:
• Standardized operations processes and streamlined business rules regarding billable services, resulting in a 30% reduction in the amount of time needed by operations staff to perform reporting.
• Implemented billing interfaces, which removed manual intervention, improved accuracy and ensured completeness of customer invoicing.
• Designed and implemented improvements to time approval processes and system functionality in an intranet Portal, resulting in: elimination of blind mass approvals of hourly time; streamlined time entry and approval processes to align with payroll, billing and financial reporting cycles; audibility and integrity of time, payroll, invoicing, and financial statements.
• Managed design and development efforts of management reports geared toward identifying and quantifying process problems, training needs, integration holes and employee utilization.

For an aftermarket automotive parts distribution organization, provided senior-level troubleshooting and design revisions to an implemented 4.6C SAP system. Heavy emphasis on direct ship and dropship programs, material determination, and IDoc processing for EDI and external systems. Client’s highly customized system required expert technical object knowledge in addition to SD and MM functional expertise.

For an application developer of medical ERP software and consulting services, performed a conversion of an existing product line to a new legal entity. Scope of conversion included: customers, vendors, sales orders, contracts, materials, sales BOMs, projects/WBS elements/networks, purchasing, iBase, and unbilled and deferred revenue G/L account balances in conjunction with complex Revenue Recognition, using the IS-HT industry solution.

4/92-2/94 – SAP R/2 Programmer/Analyst

Responsible for implementation, enhancement and support projects of an SAP R/2 Order Processing and Billing system for a major pharmaceutical company, utilizing RV, RM-MAT, and tax calculation software (Vertex), credit card processing and EDI technology. Developed interfaces, data conversion programs and reports in ABAP/4 and COBOL. Led development of end user and support documentation. Scope of project included RV and RM. Implemented a new company code as an enhancement to the production system as a result of a post go-live business acquisition.
